I started seeing the issue occasionally ever since Google changed their API. The error that you see comes directly from the http library and it means it was unable to receive the response from the server.

If you can send SMS then your settings are fine. Please do this for me:

1. create a file in the GoogleVoiceForS60 directory named debugversion.txt
2. This will force the application to create debug.log file in the same directory that will hopefully shed some light on this
3. Email me debug.log and googlevoicefors60_error.log to gvfeedback[at]bdcsoftware.com

Btw, GoogleVoiceForS60 directory is located either in the e:\data or in c:\data

I am using the Nokia E55. I installed PyS60 1.9.7 runtime, rebooted, and then installed GoogleVoiceForS60_0.7.20_merged and ssl_nokia_1_5_7.

SMS takes about 20-30 seconds to send, and once it is finished I see green text appear on the screen regarding a traceback and a bad file descriptor. I'm not sure what that means, however I can confirm that the SMS gets delivered.

When I attempt to place a call, I eventually receive the 'finished' notification, however the call never takes place. I do however get the same error text regarding the bad file descriptor once in a while. I do not see my EDGE connection become interrupted nor does my phone ring.

I was just reading the topic about Ladykaya's e75 and think I am having a similar problem. I confirmed that I have Google Voice set up for my mobile phone to ring when I use the web interface. I also confirmed that I have my login, password and mobile number saved in the application preferences on my phone.

I have tried entering my login as xxx, or as xxx@gmail.com. I have tried entering my mobile phone number as 10 digits and also as 11.

Can you help?
